Youth Out Loud! (YOL!) are a group of young people aged 13-17 from Kingston & Richmond who are helping to improve NHS care and the wellbeing of young people.
Working with Healthwatch in Richmond & in Kingston, they help to make health and care services better for young people by mystery shopping local services and raise awareness of important issues like self-harm and mental health and how to get help by making videos.
Mental Health Awareness Week
During mental health awareness week 18th – 23rd May, we’re working to raise awareness of mental health and help young people during these difficult times.
Visit yolweb.info for videos and advice to help you:
- look after your mental health and get support if you need it
- look out for a friend who’s struggling
- understand Covid-19 and how you can look after yourself.
What can you do?
To make a difference for your community, meet new friends and get involved in something different and positive you can join YOL!
We have a number of other projects and volunteering activities which you can take part in.
Too much commitment? Why not just tell us about your experiences during Covid19 through this quick survey or by reaching out to us via the details below and help us to improve support for young people.
